The Macra National Leadership Awards are back for 2026. Applications are now open for the 2026 awards, which will be presented at a banquet dinner following the National Training Day, which will take place on Saturday, 3rd October 2026, in the Athlone Springs Hotel.

· Launch and Application Opening Date: Monday, 11th May 2026
· Application Closing Date: Wednesday, 1st July 2026
· Shortlisting Applications by 10th July 2026
· Interviews: 13th to 31st July 2026
· Problem Solving and Final Interview: 3rd October 2026 in Athlone Springs Hotel
· Awards Ceremony: 3rd October 2026 in Athlone Springs Hotel, following the National Training Day
⚠️ The Rules:
- Previous Leadership Award Winners, Board Members, Presidents and Vice-Presidents (past or present) are not eligible to apply.
- Candidates who apply to or accept a nomination for the Macra National Leadership Awards will be ineligible for both the Macra Volunteer of the Year Awards and the Best New Member Competition, and will automatically be removed from both.
